Why are shorter guys usually less popular than average and tall guys?

Why does it seem that really short men have a harder time making friends than medium to taller height guys? And I don't mean getting girls, I mean just making friends and getting people to hang out with them.

I don't like hanging out with short men mainly because i like taller people more my height i don't like having to look down a people to talk to them

ive never noticed this honestly.

then again lots of people know me but i dont think of myself as 'popular'

i have haters and lovers :)

but all i really need to be popular are my friends and my education :D

Yeah right, I know this short guy he's got a girlfriend who is one of my best female friends and he's got loads of friends

Nope, you're wrong, people short, tall and such have actually more friends than any other. It's just that this short guy in particular is so into "I'm a shorty, nobody likes me ;(" that he doesn't realize that height isn't really an important matter. The people that overcomes their weakness, those are the guys with a lot of trust in themselves. That's why they have more friends than any other.
