Why are skinny people faster then heavier people???

Because lighter objects float more then heavier objects, and skinnier people are usually more fit then people that are heavy...

But, on my swim team the biggest girl on our team was our fastest girl.

heavier people = more weight

It is easier to carry something with light weight then to carry something with heavier weight!

Not neccesarily. It's true most of the time, because skinny people have less to carry around and have less drag. However, it depends on how much of the "heaviness" is muscle, and can help the person pull through the water, like Misty Hyman.

Because when you are skinny you have less weight to carry and there is less drag.

Its something called weight. A 160 lb man exerts less energy and usually moves quicker than a 260 lb man.

ok- here is a good example:

there is a race between a 110 pound 5'4 girl and a body builder who is 260 pounds. The winner, although the heavier one more muscular, would be the lighter girl because she would have an easier time moving through water currents than a man who would have to move through MUCH more water because of all the space he takes up- there is more current for him to swim through.
