Why are snooker table legs silver now?

Not sure if this has been asked b4 but snooker tables have always been kept with the wood finish. And now someone has come along with a tin of silver spray paint! Is it so that it matches everybodys silver tvs dvd players and silver cars?? Sorry for the rant..

silver is the new modern colour and the snooker boffins want to

keep the sport trendy,ps the balls are stopping the same colour though i think.

probably. its all about fashion.  tbh, metal is ugly. wood looks better

Man am I glad you asked this I have been laying awake at night for months  about it. I was just afraid to ask because I would sound silly for asking-I was right

I still like wood because it matches my stick
