Why are so few able to understand the global conspiracy and how can we overcome this?

Question

possibilities include a lack of interest or will to go to the effort of questioning ones own beleifs and rethinking prior assumptions. Possibly because it takes at least a couple weeks heavy heavy research and thinking to process such information which at first can be so counter to our understanding. or how about when we discovered the earth is round? It took a while for this round earth theory to pick up and for people to gain understanding didn't it? especially when the political establishment had it not in their best interests.

what do you think? (particularly interested in answers from people who are conspiracy-aware) Why is it so often misunderstood, hard to explain, ignored and refuted without proper investigation?

-on a more constructive note: how and with what related topic is the best way to explain it to someone unaware? how have you successfully explained this massive broad topic to another without them assuming you to be a quack?

Don't listen to the first answer-er. It is not paranoia. Regardless of if these conspiracies are true. No government has EVER been truthful to its people. And just remember this: A person is smart, PEOPLE are stupid. When people start thinking as a whole, it is totally different. But if you catch a person individually, and talk to them about everything that is going on that they fail to recognize, and back up your points with reasonable evidence, that is different. And remember also, all it takes is one person to f*ck up everything  for everyone else.

Ever notice how the general population vocalizes that the government sucks and they lie, blah blah blah, but yet they trust then so much? It's called brainwashing. Just because it's not direct doesn't mean it isn't so.

Go to www.documantis.com ( think I spelled it right, either way, it's easy to find), you will find many documentaries on how our country is kiling people of other countires for our own beneift and what not. Look  into the documentary about how our food is going to loaded with antibiotics and hormones (that's right, including organic food if the farmer wishes) the doc is about codex alimentaris (sp?). ::sigh::... it's sad because the general population belives all the government propoganda because the government gives them reason to be scared. For instance, the real ID issue. They make it mandatory by making it your drivers license. Everyone has to have one if they want to drive right? The real ID has your occupation, your religion, your blood type. WQhat do they need with all that info? Along the with RFID chip, look it up. I don't know how conspiracy aware you are, but look into America, freedom to facism. If you can't find it on documentaris, get it on google video. ALso, look ito the year 1913. It's the year alot of things happened as far as america's "independance" to the british and a lot other laws. ::sigh:: there is a lot of things I could say in answer to your question, but it would only be to try to convince those that are realistically brainwashed, and it wouldn't do much good unless the person researches all these things for themselves. The ones that don't believe claim we are just making **** up, but yet they believe the bible isn't? They believe that whaty they believe is right? If there is a possiblity that what we believe isn't right, then why should we should we believe that the "normal" "societal" beliefs are right?

added 9:06 am:  I think that the problem with movies like Zeitgiest and the other one I mentioned, is that people aren't willing to actually look into some of the points they  make. People just want to brush it off because it's not accepted in society, it's not a popular "normal" belief. And religion has steered us all into "if you don't worship me, when you die you'll go to h**l, you'll be in horrrrrrible pain for eternity"... When the truth is, all religions worship the same friggin god. The only difference is, christianity replaced the sun with a man called "God".

well, i have researched NWO and many other similar conspiracy's. the problem is all the theory's are based in pseudoscience, speculation and just plain guesswork.

i know how the economy is based on debt, i know who and what the rockerfeller family is, i have a good understanding of the foreign policy of many country's, and quite frankly. you guys are all insane, some are not... but for the most part all 9/11 truthers and other conspiracy theorists are kids that live in there mothers basements and normally have an attitude like a Internet troll towards anyone that disagrees.

if you agree you are 'awake' or 'enlightened' if you disagree you are 'blind' or 'need to do some research'... this attitude means that the conspiracy theorists are more like a cult than they are truth seekers, most people that are interested in this subject are small petty people that feel they need some more excitement in there life and generally have some resentment towards the government, i hate all authority... however i have a good enough understanding of the world to know that a one world government is totally inevitable .

judging by your letter and your need to inform others of your personal opinion i get the feeling that you are the preacher sort, you want to attract importance to this issue and your self by appearing to have information that others don't, just like a cult or religion.

also, it might help your credibility if you did not automatically assume that all triangles are subliminal messages or proof of alliance, also hanging round and associating your self with people that believe shape shifting reptilians from a planet called nibiru are going to come here in 2012 and kill us all can only detract from your credibility.

First off, you don't need to be treated, your fine. and your right.

And as to what your asking, I am unclear. But people only acknowledge that which they know as fact or that which they can comprehend. Subliminol messages in the US was outlawed years ago, but that DOES NOT mean that they don't still do it today.

While its a bit of a crude example picture this;

Every day you drive to work. There is a billboard that you pass by that shows a Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks. ex http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2108/2129... Now you see this EVERY DAY on your way to work, and eventually your mind starts to consciously ignore it. But subconsciously you will ALWAYS see it, no questions asked. Now people confuse subliminol messages with brainwashing. While it is a form of brainwashing it does not mean you will always do what you see. It just means you are more likely to "do what you see", so to speak. So the next time your girlfriend decides she wants to get coffee, you are more likely to 1. visit Starbucks and 2. buy a Peppermint Mocha from there.
