  1. So many?!

Jews make up less than 1% of the world population!

That's around 13 million out of some 6 billion.

Those who (sincerely) convert to Judaism do so because they feel it's the right spiritual path for them.

  2. Everyone is free to choose, the religion will not be effected if you choose it or not, nothing will change but the most important thing that you have to respect the others and what they believe this is their choice and when you respect them and their choice they will respect you and your choic

  3. People who come to believe in Mohammad as the final messenger carrying Allah's message convert to Islam.

People who come to believe that Jesus was the son of God and is the Messiah convert to Christianity.

People who come to believe in the tenets of Judaism, can convert and become Jews.

    A few things to note:

[A] there are very few Jews in the world.

[B] Jews' impact on the world is disproportionate to their numbers because rigorous education of the children has been a Jewish tradition for 1000s of years.  This doesn't mean in any way that Jews are smarter, for any family that rigorously trains its children in ethical, moral as well as subject matter material from the age of 3 can achieve wonderful results.  But such training present in almost every Jewish household explains Jewish contributions to Law, Medicine, Music, Theatre, Philosophy, etc., etc.

[C]   Jews do NOT seek converts.  One may convert only after one has convinced a Rabbi of his/her sincerity (ie. a matter of personal faith) AND has studied at least a year to fully understand what he/she is comiting him/herself to, AND after coming before a BEIT DIN (ritual court) and testifying that the decision is his/her free and uncoerced act and deed.

I hope this has been of some help to you.

  4. I can't understand it either.....Kosher food really sucks

  5. I'd like to know why you are asking this question.  What is your motivation?  Can you provide additional details?  Because on the face of it, you sound like another moronic anti-Semite and I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt.

  6. it is a personal choice... so respect it and you will recieve equal respect.

    judgements hurt you, first.

  7. Why do so many Latinos post about their hatred of Jews?

  8. There are in fact very few Jews, maybe 12 million out of a planet of 5 billion people. Or are you asking why we are scattered all over the world? That would be because the Roman Conquest took our homeland away from us in 67 CE, almost 2000 years ago, destroyed our Holy Temple and drove us into exile.

Whether "many" people convert to Judaism is a matter of what you mean by "many". The Jewish religion is opposed to proselytizing, seeking converts. In fact, if a person approaches a rabbi expressing a desire to convert, the rabbi is expected to discourage the would-be convert. Only those who cannot be dissuaded are judged to be deeply committed enough to begin conversion-classes. The classes require several years of rigorous training, and then the would-be convert is reviewed by a religious court of rabbis (a Bet Din). Converting to Judaism is difficult, intentionally. "It's hard to be a Jew!"

Those who do commit to converting to Judaism generally say that they do so because they feel that it's the religion which  makes the most sense to them, or that they "have a Jewish soul".

  9. Jews are "people of the book", just like Muslims.

Is your problem with them the fact that you have to treat them differently than other non-Muslims?

They cannot really be considered "infidels", so what category do they fit into?

Is it right for Muslims to be at war with them too?

Sometimes this religious intolerance thing is just too hard.  It's tough to keep your enemies straight.

  10. Judaism is a good religion because it is the origin of Christianity.  Thus, there are many who want to be converted to being Jews.

  11. why does this bother you..i assume you are muslim...i am

catholic..want to join my religion ???..my god dont whip women or condone killing  for jihad or allah..

  12. Your question makes no sense.  There are "so many" Jews because that's how many there are.

When converting to Judaism, what would you expect people to become other than Jewish?  Goldfish?

Judaism is an old and honorable relilgion.  People convert to a religion becasue they agree with it's beliefs.
