Why are so many famous physchologists german?

Or do you mean Austrian?  Until the n***s there was a big Jewish community in Austria which prouced some of the greatest minds of the nineteenth century. Karl Marx to name but two.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that that is wear Psychology started and they ran with it. I don't think it was very popular in the states until Wilhelm Wundt I want to say started it in the U.S. but don't quote me I forgot a lot of what I learned in psych.

It would be more correct to say German-speaking. I believe that it was the Jewish rather than the German mind-set that underpinned the work of the pioneers such as Freud, Jung and Adler. I am neither Jewish nor a student of psychology, but I see a straight line between the delving of scientists and that of Talmudic scholars.
