Why are so many females so concerned and insecure about their body?

Question

Being a teenager, and a virgin.. it has baffled me to understand why so many females ask.. are my b***s too small.. is my v****a too big.. which then makes me ask myself them questions.. too big or small for what? are you thinking about guys.. if so then wouldnt you be happy to be imperfect, to know your guy loves you for who you are rather than for having this so called 'perfect body'. I know i am not perfect, and yes feeling nervous about 'the first time' and 'what will he think of me' has crossed my mind.. but now it doesnt as i know i will be losing it to the guy who i am in love with.. and unless your easy and sleep with a guy before a proper relationship and love.. there is nothing to worry about.. WHAT ARE THESE INSECURITIES FOR? GOD MADE YOU HOW YOU ARE AND IF YOUR AFRAID OF A GUY JUDGING YOU.. THEN YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH HIM..SO WHY WOULD HE SEE YOUR PRIVATE BITS ANYWAY?

   Ok, this isn't really an answer, but i wanted to input. This happens all the time at my school! I don't get it either! Oh well.  I've had my period a couple times and everyone is like"oh, your flat chested, you are SO not going to get a guy". Its crazy!

Im sorry to say but men make us feel insecure about ourselfs

We go out our way to impress you, and then u ask why are we soo insecure.

Were insecure because men seem to think that the perfect women is a size 10 blonde with size E b***s teeny tiny hips and legs that go for miles.

Its not our fault that men and the media make us feel this way, if it wasnt for that wed feel alot less insecure!!!!!

I'm not insecure about that stuff. I am insecure about my body cuz i am overweight. I have a nice big stomach (Which i am trying to get rid of by exercising)

Hun, because that's what society says we should be like, too many do gooders trying to brain wash us to think its perfect to have a size zero body, or have blond hair blue eyes, its also all about money, advertisers do their up-most to drag us in and make us think there products can do miracle things, of course they don't, its all a front, people who are insecure about themselves are the poor victims they will believe anything that's told to them, learning to love yourself for who you are is the way to go, there are plenty of classes to go to to help with self esteem, i totally agree with you, you are what god made you unfortunately not every one thinks like that,also people can be very cruel saying things to upset people but its themselves who are insecure because they have to call someone else to make themselves feel better, there are people out there with much worse problems but as a selfish society we cant see past that, hope this helps hun you have your head screwed on, keep it that way, people can be really shallow sometimes.
