they say it is essential for jobs but this only increases pressure in the jobs market ad provides short term work.

they say it is essential because families are getting bigger. No-one puts a gun at anyone's head and says "You must have six children or else!"

The say it helps people on the housing ladder. Where? None of it is affordable that I can see, and besides the government allows landlords and PD's to buy up thousands of houses in one go.

They say it is vital to house immigrants and asylum seekers. I am not saying we should close our doors, but they are supposed to go to the 1st safe country they reach, and in any case, we have thousands of people homeless after flooding these last 2 years.

Building to perpetuity and neglecting moors, open spaces and floodbelts is causing homelessness and chaos:

  1. There's going to be alot of empty offices and shops very soon now !!

  2. They are being built so people can make money.  Unfortunately we have to flatten stuff and rebuild it again to make money.  There are plenty of houses to go round (why do you need two homes?) but this is the society we live in and we let it happen.  We need to build stuff to provide employment then once we;ve built it we need to knock it down to rebuild it again to keep people employed.  It's monkey business. We knock down factories and build houses and shops.  But i think the game is up.  It's been coming a while and no one has saved for a rainy day.  We are going to h**l in a handcart we are doomed if we spend and doomed if we don't.  America has it much worse.  We brought it on ourselves - we let it happen.

  3. Simple, a rapidly growing  population caused mainly by mass immigration, Check the link below if you have doubts about this
