Question:

Why are so many non-Christians taking joy in the troubles of the Palin family? ?

I see a lot of atheists almost in a state of glee over the fact that Sarah Palin's daughter is pregnant as a teen ager.

In today's world of sin and decadence, these things will happen. Even to believers of Jesus Christ. However, they are handling the situation as a family and making sure that this child has a chance to live. Go figure. How "horrible" that is. LOL

Honestly? God Bless Sarah Palin and her family. I pray for my sister in Christ!

  1. They aren't "troubles" of the family.

It's what happens when you ignore teaching children about having safe, protected s*x.

  2. I too support my sister in Christ, however I will point out that there are many atheists who are NOT on the BASH PALIN BAND WAGON.

Many are just as appalled by this nonsense as any other rational, sensitive person.

But, I would like to ask what are those who are attacking this young pregnant girl like rabid dogs what do they think they will accomplish?

This is America, and for liberals to alienate someone for their personal freedom is the highest act of hypocrisy. No one is buying this and it's making those in the middle even less supportive of the left wing ideologies.

  3. Misery loves company.

  4. atheists are petty and do and say as they please without thought or care for the feelings of others. they will be the only positive thing to being in h**l after i die. i look forward to seeing them there with me in the lake of fire. . . .I am not an atheist. but i will be there with them. for all eternity.

  5. Because Satan uses the weaknesses of the flesh to negate Christ's atonement for our sins.  Ms. Palin and her family need our prayers, not our condemnation.  I agree with the following statement by Bishop Jackson - "Bishop Jackson says Americans do not expect leaders' families to be perfect, but can learn candidates' true character from how they handle difficult circumstances."  God bless!!!

  6. The problem is that Sarah Palin has been outspoken in saying the sins of others are the reasons for all of the problems in the world.

Any Christian that stood with her throwing stones at others should be content to throw stones at her now.

She's another in a long line of hypocrites claiming Christianity as a religion. Are these the fruits we're supposed to know you Christians by? Are they?

Had she acted Christian instead of using Christianity as a mantle for her other agendas I'd respect her more.

I think it was very clever of McCain's advisors to pick a hypocrite. You see, it's hard to resist pointing at a hypocrite, and now when people point to her hypocracy the McCain camp will say that they are "bullying her."

...Yet Republicans had no trouble linking Bill Clinton's Moral failings to his wife.

    MORE HYPOCRITES.

...and you'll all fall for it.

  7. People delight in the misery of others. It makes them feel superior. Gossip has always been a pass-time of humans. Isn't it funny how our sins look worse on someone else.

  8. I take no joy in the problems of others, I have serious doubts about her competence to be placed in a position of responsibility and power and feel very uncomfortable with the concept of her being #2 for control of the country with a president who is actually quite likely to die in the next 5-10 years based on his age.

I am given to wonder if her unconditional love and nonjudgemental attitude towards her daughter would be extended to others in the same situation, and considering her irrational support of extremist religious policies, I am given to doubt it very strongly, which makes her very likely a hypocrite.

  9. I'm not happy about the situation at all. This happened to my sister so I know the troubles and grief this girl will go through. As I've said before, I have enough problems with Palin's politics that I don't need to go prying into her personal life to dig up more dirt.

  10. I do enjoy it when self-righteous people are exposed as hypocritical.  If evangelicals weren't so bent on the abstinence agenda and against pre-marital s*x, then there would be nothing to talk about.  It's interesting, though, that they seem to dismiss this particular sin by loudly demonstrating how she's not committing OTHER sins, as if they cancel each other out or something.

The fact is, these things don't happen to people who practice what they preach.

  11. I think they are just trying to find any reason they can to make Sarah Palin look bad.

But it's back firing because her family chose life and people are going to see that and respect that.

They don't believe it's ok to kill babies like Obama does

  12. This atheist is not happy about the attention that poor young woman is getting. As her mother's opponent in this race has stated - the families should be off-limits. I would defend her right to privacy from any and all invaders of it; and I don't give a d**n if they are atheists or missionaries. Shame on them all.

  13. i havnt a clue who they are or what its about

and i take no joy in the suffering of others, unless it was deserved

  14. Of course it could happen to anyone. We're paying particular attention to them because they're raving over 'abstinence-only' s*x education, then their daughter gets pregnant at the age of seventeen. It's so ironic, that's why we love it so much.

  15. I'm not taking joy...I feel sorry for the poor girl.  She is paying for her parent's antiquated beliefs.

  16. My joy is in how this undermines McCain, precisely so more people *won't* be hurt by more Republican nonsense (are those last words redundant?)

  17. Sarah Palin, the 44-year-old grandmother-to-be, may well deserve our sympathy.

However, Sarah Palin, the public figure, is rightly pilloried for being hypocritical.

  18. P.T. 4 Cheesus, Stop your whining.

    Deist

  19. It's not "non-Christians" joining the feeding frenzy; it's the mainstream media and liberal Democrats.

  20. What atheists have you seen in a state of glee?  I couldn't honestly care less.  The issue for me is whether or not we should have another fundamentalist-run government. We absolutely should not.   Besides, it's no worse than fundamentalists using 9/11 and Katrina to make scapegoats out of homosexuals, "abortionists," and pagans.

"Take out the plank in your own eye before you point out the speck in someone elses."  --Jesus (paraphrase)

  21. I feel sorry for her daughter.I wonder if she had other options but marrying her boyfriend and having the baby.

  22. I don't know.  I'm not Christian, and I'm mostly liberal, and I think it's horrible that people are taking joy in it.  It's a private family matter, and it has no bearing on Palin's performance.  I think it's ridiculous.
