  1. I guess in New Zealand's case, Australia is bigger and therefore has better opportunities, jobs, shopping, etc.

For the rest of the World, I guess it's because we're known to be relatively safe, laid back and comfortable. Plus, we don't get too involved with conflict and therefore not really a terror target and we are so far away from the rest of the World that we're almost always safe from trouble.

  2. The economy is good, socially it's similar to NZ and other western countries, there are opportunities, Australians are easy going and welcome newcomers, there's plenty of work for people looking to work hard and make big money, health care is good, the climate is nice ... the list is long!

    Cheers :-)

  3. i just moved to sydney from west auckland nz. i left becuase i was sick of robbing people and selling crack to get by. at least here i can have a real job and not be worried about someone trying to kill me when im asleep.

    sydney is cool!!!

  4. "The one" doesn't know much about Australia - our forces fought in WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq and first Gulf War! Hardly 'not involved'! Maybe its just because it is a great place to live and has a great lifestyle.

  5. Well a lot of people in New Zealand think it has more job oppurtuinity and the climate is nicer. I am in Auckland and am planning on moving to brisbane later this year as well because of my job....

  6. becuz nobody cares about the people from "down under" they dont get involved in war or politic very often...(i think)

  7. its a free country and we are a multi-cultural society.... we let anyone have a go and keep to ourselves!!!!
