Is this just in human nature or was this socially taught>

These questions received several responses, which demonstrated people's sensitivity, even though I just noted trends and patterns that I have noticed from statistics and other data, which isn't really a generalization, that shows these trends exist, yet people will use name calling rather than look at the question objectively and then dissect it with what they see as accurate or inaccurate with elaborating and explaining what think about such a statement.

Are people just to sensitive and ignorant to answer questions based on race?

  1. THE ISSUE OF RACE HAS BECOME SO TABOO IN OUR SOCIETY I AGREE ITS RIDICULOUS...

THERE NO SUCH THING AS "COLOR BLIND" WHEN ANYONE ENCOUNTERS A BLACK PERSON, OR MEXICAN, OR ASIAN...ETC...YOU OBVIOUSLY CAN'T NOT SEE THEIR COLOR. AND WE ALL MAKE SUBCONSCIOUS JUDGMENTS OR CLASSIFICATIONS BASED ON THIS ABOUT THAT PERSON. ITS JUST WHAT HAPPENS.

IT'S JUST SOCIETY'S CONDEMNATION OF THESE VIEWS THAT MAKE PEOPLE FEEL THEY CANT BE OPEN ABOUT THAT. JUST BECAUSE YOU REFER TO SOMEONE AS BLACK OR WHATEVER DOESN'T MAKE YOU RACIST IT MAKES YOU HUMAN.

AND MOST RACISM OR SEPARATION THESE DAYS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COLOR OF SOMEONE'S SKIN BUT THE RACIAL TENDENCIES.

ITS PRETTY SIMPLE AND UNAVOIDABLE BUT MOST PEOPLE ARE TOO AFRAID TO FALL UNDER ATTACK THEMSELVES THAT THEY IGNORE THESE FEELINGS AND REFUSE TO BE OPEN ABOUT IT.

PERSONALLY, I AM OPEN ABOUT TALKING ABOUT RACE AND I AM NOT GOING TO DENY BEING A LITTLE RACIST. BUT ITS SIMPLY BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER RACES THAT MAKES ME THINK DIFFERENTLY ABOUT THEM. I FALL UNDER ATTACK OR SCRUTINY OVER THIS SUBJECT ALL THE TIME AND I COULDN'T CARE LESS. WITH RACE COMES CULTURE. AND EVERY CULTURE IS DIFFERENT...

KUDOS FOR NOT BEING AFRAID TO ASK THESE QUESTIONS AND FOR REALIZING MOST PEOPLE'S LACK OF SELF EMPOWERMENT TO ANSWER HONESTLY.

  2. What people and society fear, they put lables on. Bigatry is a learned trait, your not born with it.

  3. It's all just become ridiculous. According to society now, asking a simple question from curiosity alone makes you a racist. Really,it goes to prove how ignorant as a society we have become...because THIS METHOD IS NOT WORKING.  You get one of three responses from any question like that--angry, denial, or honest. The third one rarely happens because we as a society don't like to answer for fear of being called a racist. Me? I no longer defend my position anymore. After all, that would not be my problem, but the problem of the person who can't seem to get past it.
