i mean its something that we CANT stop

even if we right now, stopped making co2 and c**p its gunna happin due to earths elliptical orbit turning more into a circle. i mean, florida's gunna be pretty much gone in 15years.

like, all co2 and emmisions are doing is speeding up the process, but nothings gunna stop it, or slow it down.

why cant people just get it in their skull?

that and biodiesal.

biodeisal is alot worse than gas

its gunna raise food, grains, wheat, milk, prices, whiles still emmiting about 80% of the usuall gas emittions.

like its not gunna do anything

why cant we just gradually stop making gas-products, unless its critical for us to live better on

  1. Okay, yes it MIGHT be something we can't stop, BUT, we CAN still try, I mean, it's our only planet!! If we could at least try to cut down on Co2 and emission.

Oh, and do you now how to spell???biodiesal?

  2. People are scared because it can kill us and people are annoyed because they wanna live in a nice world!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Global warming is real, and it is manmade. This is the overwhelming conclusion to be formed from the currently available research. To read more about this, and to be better informed, I would suggest a visit to wikipedia, in particular the following articles:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warm...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attribution...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_cha...

But to answer your question, we can slow it down dramatically, and eventually stop it altogether, using only current technology. There was a very good article in Scientific American last month about how it would be entirely possible, with a relatively small (but substantial investment) to replace all the US domestic electricity production with solar thermal plants. This combined with a switch towards new hybrid and eventually electric vehicles would solve most of the US problem. So saying there is nothing we can do is really shirking your personal responsibility.

  4. They have to keep the myth alive so they can ruin our way of life. These people hate capitalism, and want some make serious money from it. They must know its not real, but they do it out of spite, and only push the notion that they have interests in saving the planet.

I have studied GW for some time now, and have concluded that its just not possible for man to have caused this. Global warming has occurred in the past, and its been nature that has caused it. We may be going into an ice age.

Al Gore is a phony and a fraud.

  5. We couldn't stop it or slow it down if we all had your attitude, no.

Empower yourself by learning about solutions, and work on reducing your carbon footprint so you are no longer part of the problem.

Since this situation is unprecedented, there will be bumps on the road like the biofuel situation.  But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, if we act soon, and act decisively.

  6. biodiesal? du u no how to spel?

what about people living with asthma or other lung problems? they need to move out on the country side, cause they have troubles breathing in the cities.

there are more benefits of living greener than just preventing global warming.

and biodiesel is cheaper and it wont raise the food prices. many countries are already using it a lot and food is the same. do you live in usa? its your country and economy that is messed up. biodiesel wont mess up anything.

and there are plenty of other fuels. there are even cars working on compressed air.

there's even a theory of making clouds. so if we save on energy, then we can spend the saved energy on "cloud factories". they can be really useful.

  7. Because they've been brain washed so much by the media and all the dorks jumping on the band wagon in an attempt to be politically correct, they are like smokers looking for an authorized place to smoke if they want to buck the trend.

Personally i guess i have to admit i'm wrong, because I thought the average person was smart enough to know BS when they heard it just by reality checks and contradictory science to fly in the face of this hoax. I thought at least people would have more intelligence when it came to their wallet.

But people are out there, acting like mush heads, handing or willing to hand over even more money to the Government...which hasn't done a good job on much yet....and that's for either party and goes way back before Mr. Bush.

They want to feel so good about themselves I guess to think they made a difference, when all they are really doing is lining the pockets of people like Al Gore for some carbon trading scam. Give me a break. Get some education you freaks.

Polution has been a problem since industrialization, and air and water quality in general have gotten better. People use to complain about their lungs hurting in LA, that's not the case today. Water country wide is much more sanitary than other nations, particularly 3rd world. Conservation of energy was started a long long time ago, it isn't new, and it was reasonable, it was changing or saving a little at a time. The global warming hoax has been an all of a sudden, turn your life upside down made up crisis. The country will still be here tomorrow, and the next day, and a year from now and 10 years from now, but how much longer will families and people have to suffer the effects of these freaks with an agenda ? Soaring food costs because they thought we should make bio fuels......nice job on that one. how about the push for Ethanol which is heavily subsidized just to make it competative..and that's with our tax dollar...where as Oil companies have to pay their own taxes. Ethanol is also inefficient, less powerful and burns up small engines. Has anyone ever done a cost analysis on how much solar or wind would take to equal one reactor ? Not to mention the maintenance, land space, the fact that the wind might not be blowing or sun might not be shining.

People just love to tout the intelligent people that we are "misinformed" , wrong or ignorant when the opposite is true. IF they were telling the truth, there wouldn' t be so much lyin gon their side of the arguement. Polar bears aren't dying, their numbers have increased to 25k...abouts. The polar ice caps have been reported as both melting and increasing. The 4 world weather centers show temperature platueaing since 1998 and down 1/2  a degree in 2007. The evidence is out there, problem is, so many people are so invested in this hoax crisis that they will look foolish and lose funding if they change now.

  8. If you think biodiesel (and ethanol) are going to hurt the food supply, you don't know how food is made in this country.  Read part 1 of "The Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan, your library will have it.   Farm policy in the USA has created a crazy glut of dirt-cheap corn and soy.  There's so much corn they can't even use it all, and the farm subsidies are rigged so farmers just keep making more and more of it even though it's worth less and less because the market's flooded.  Nobody's going to starve because of biofuels.  If anything, demand might give farmers a chance to not go bankrupt overproducing corn and soy.

As for stopping using gas, well, look at where everyone in America lives.  How are people going to get to their homes, out there in suburban sprawl?  All of which was built assuming dirt cheap fuel.  They're going to have to move, which will cause a real estate market collapse in sprawl homes and a value increase in city homes.  (the opposite of the 1950s when gas got so cheap).  That's starting to happen.

  9. First off, your spelling as well as your ideas are not correct. You need to do some proper research in order to form an opinion. There is a lot more to the whole situation that you are unaware of. Global warming is a very complex web of processes that CAN be slowed down. If you have any further questions and truly are really to learn and not be ignorant please feel free to respond.

  10. Whoever told you Florida's "gunna be pretty much gone in 15years" is NOT a reliable source of information.  That's complete nonsense.

  11. This is our planet and the only planet humans are capable of surviving on, so we need to look after and take care of it.

Global Warming is real. Humans are speeding up the natural process by emitting more CO2 emissions into the atmosphere quicker than plants can absorb it. We are burning fossil fuels like never before, and we are demanding more.

We might not be able to prevent Global Warming, but there are ways you can help slow down the process.

    1. Reduce the amount of fossil fuels you use. Take public transport or bike to work.

    2. Recycle. It's easy to do. Read this for more information on Recycling -- http://corrosionexplosion.blogspot.com/2...

    3. If you cut down one tree, plant two in it's place.

    4. Turn off your appliances if they aren't being used. Turn off lights if you aren't in the room.

    5. If you get cold, apply more layers of clothing instead of turing the heater on or the thermostat up.
