Why are some Republicans obsessed with masculinity?

Question

I've been on here a while and noticed quite a few questions talking about how "liberals aren't real men"... "Obama's not a real man"... "liberals are like girls" ...and on and on...

is this just another example of how they view women as weak and men as the only worthy ones?

I can't tell if it's politics from the 4th grade or 4th century?

Very aggressive guys think that's what makes their masculinity where in fact it's the less aggressive who know how to get their point of view across respectfully who are the ones to be admired.  Patience is a virtue but anger is the ruin of many.

why don't we all act feminine and see where it gets us.  Masculinity is what leads, soft weaker people follow.

They love guns, hate women's rights, feel the need to constantly re-assert their masculinity, drive big cars and have small penises.
