  1. Well, first, your facts are wrong:

    Maurice Edu---born in California

    O. Onyewu--born in Washington DC

    J. Altidore---born in New Jersey

Second, if players are eligible by FIFA rules, nobody should cryabout them playing----for whatever nation is involved.

Edit:  Michael Orozco, the player mentioned who plays for San Luis, is not a Mexican---he was born in California

Same thing for Carlos Bocanegra---he was born in California too.

  2. usa has mexican players on there squad like bocanegra

borstien(or whatever his name is) and donavon is half-

the wanted panchito mendoza from chivas usa but he is waiting it out-

also they were pist when jose torres and edgar castillo said no to the team usa invite!

  3. Dynamo why dont you just shut up...! Go back to watching your mickey mouse league.!

  4. your facts are wack. adu is the only one born outside of the us. altidore, onyewu, and edu were born in the US. so i guess mexico cant use anyone that isnt a native mexican indian? just shut up, i havent heard any usa fans complain about that. even if you did bring in outsiders usa owns mexico.

  5. well you should know we don't depend on these players to win unlike yall who can only have a "slight" chance of winning with the naturalizados :]

  6. The reality is that the US National team would have nobody to use on its national team if you look at heritage!  The United States of America is make up of people of all nationalities!  That is like saying that anyone with Irish, German, English, Dutch, French, Swedish, Norwegian, Austrian, Hungarian, and what other nationality that you can come with can't play on the US National team.  Listen to yourselves?  The United States of America is unlike any other Nation.  And to hear c**p like this or that the MLS and its refs are racist is absurd!   Have you seen the colorful display of players that the US National team and MLS clubs have on its rosters?  Making statements like that make you look ignorant.  Every person used on the US National team is an American citizen.  Do you know how long it takes to become an American citizen(if not born here or have American an parent)?  At least 7 years!

Can’t compare the United States with any other nation in regards to its citizens and who it uses for its national teams.

  7. Well I am Mexican and I think it is pathetic

how Mexico is using "naturalizados" in the

national team. We have enough talent to

play without them. We aren't Vietnam, Turkey,

or some weaker nation of that sort that

needs them. We need to be working with

our youth systems more to get talent of

there instead of ignoring them. Do you think

young Mexican footballers work so hard

so a foreign can come and take

his spot in the national team?

And I agree with you about the

US thing, if I am correct a Mexican

is participating for the US track team and

another one who plays for San Luis is

playing for the US soccer team.

  8. usa national team wanted edgar castillo but he turn their offer down cause he told them he wanted to play for mexico, el gringo torres and michael orozco are latins playing for the U.S. squad

  9. FIFA/IOC should stop allowing naturalizados to play for national teams. Simply put: Every player on a national team must have been born in that country.

If this doesn't happen we'll eventually have 2+ Brazilians playing for every country.

Re Freddy Adu - his is an interesting case: He moved to the US when he was 8, and for reasons other than football. So it would be tough to tell him he can only play for Ghana.

But if I were in charge, I'd say, "Tough luck, you can only play for Ghana."

  10. I dont agree with using naturalizados but other teams do it. Top teams do it. For example, Camoranesi with the WC Champs Italy. I also remember the US giving some foreign player his papers so he could play for the US during WC 94.

  11. lets not forget landon donovan

    his nationality is still unknown

his mother burned his birth certificate when he was born

and was later found at the doorstep of the white house

    sucking his thumb
