  1. you dont need to listen too it all the best cards are banned dont listen to the stupid list but if you enter a tournament you will have to listen to the banned list

  2. The Forbidden and Limited list is really just for tournament play. As new cards are released new combos are developed and some of those combos create stale or just plain annoying competitive environments. So the list is necessary to balance the environment and keep Organized Play competitive. However, if you don't want to play in a tournament you can follow the Traditional restricted lists. There are no banned cards in Traditional format but instead all the cards banned in Advanced format are limited to one. Here's a link to both lists: http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/yugio... Switching to Advanced is a good idea if only because many people refuse to play against Traditional decks. But if you don't want to don't apologize for playing what you want. Alot of people try to talk c**p about people who play Traditional and thats just crazy. ^_^;

  3. Because the ban list keeps yugioh alive. A lot of those cards could make good players lose to bad players just because of a better draw. Those cards that are banned are far to easy to work with and are just to broken to make the game fun. When the ban list came around i was pissed too and thought about quitting but you will come to find as I did that its a lot more fun now playing without those other cards. You need to think more and play a much better duel then you would of before.

  4. there banned becasue there too good like for example as new decks come out the cards that are very good for that deck are banned and btw  monster reborn now is not banned anymore

    but call of haunted now is banned

  5. There are multiple reasons.

    Number 1: Some of the listed cards are just unfair. Several were one hit wonders that could clear the field on their own, or that all competitive play was based around.

    Number 2:  The guys making the card game don't want you to stop buying their expensive cards. For instance, Raigeki destroyed all monsters on the field. Lightning Vortex has you discard a card and then destroy face up monsters. These little differences make the game arguabley more fair, but they also keep you pulling packs if you need to replace some of your old cards.
