Why are some adults dissing kids for wrestling?

like there was one telling kids that they nothing about wrestling, i mean we may not be wrestling fans for aslong as you because of course your older but that doesnt mean we havent watched it for 10+ years, like me i know loads of teens who have been watching it since they where about 3 or 4, so we actually do know quite a bit and i dont see why some selfish adults are dissing it ???

im 17 and i diss everyone doesnt matter what age they are. and yes the kids do knnow less then someone who has been watching their hole livea and literally live wrestling(me)

i dont know why i cant sto. im on account 14 cause ive been suspended 13 times for dissing them so bad.

There's a difference between someone who's been watching for 10 years since they were 3 and someone watching for 10 years since they were 16. Should I really go any further?

I think it doesn't matter what age you are if you enjoy it. theirs far to many other people dissing us for watching wrestling we shouldn't be dissing each other some people don't understand why we like wrestling  each to their own they should leave us alone and let us enjoy our choice of entertainment

Because there are a lot of little boys who say things like, "LOL Cena is uber awesome, he's the best in the WWE!" then there's little teenage girls on here talking about how s**y Cena is and that apparently makes him a great wrestler, somehow yeah i dont get it either. Make intelligent statements like, Undertaker's style isn't as technical as Kurt Angle, but I still prefer Taker over Angle. You're kids, not idiots. I don't know just my opinion, I'm 18 years old, but I've always been a smart wrestling fan. I guess there's dumb fans in every age group, not just kids.

Wresling is the most homo-erotic form of entertainment imaginable.  Guys in lycra rolling about on the floor, with loads of other guys stood around cheering.  Weird, just weird.

first of all there's tons of places to get used dvd's of classic wrestling matches. video stores, truck stops, swap meets, Wal mart, and online. so I see no point in Adults disrespecting kids regarding wrestling. Not there is some Adult promotions prooting female catfights back in the early 80's and 90's but those was pulished in both wrestling magazines and crime magazines so if was of legal age could grab them. There's no point we're all here to have fun!

I'm not here to preach the evils of television, let alone of wrestling. It is something that people enjoy. I respect that. I try to be considerate of anyone's tastes in anything. It doesn't mean I agree or comply with what they do. Wrestling is just fun entertainment.

As for the WS users here that condemn the kids, they are just here to lord their knowledge over someone and make them look like fools. It's something that could happen to them. As much as any of them know, I think there would be something wrong if they knew what kind of toilet paper was in Umaga's house.

I didn't see that particular post but most of the older users here don't like the over-abundance of non-wrestling questions.  "Who's hotter?" is not a wrestling question.  "Why does Batista suck?" is not a wrestling question.  "Is Undertaker dating Michelle?" is not a wrestling question.  "Smackdown spoilers?" is not a wrestling question.

This forum is a place to ask and answer wrestling questions, to share our knowledge and experience of wrestling (however much that is), to learn from each other.

This forum is not a chatroom.  Nor is it a forum to insult, harass, or stalk other members.  Some "kids" don't seem to understand this.

To the user above who gets a kick out of insulting "marks".  News for you: ALL wrestling fans are "marks".  That's the wrestling business' term to describe wrestling fans and is NOT an insult.

My purpose for joining this forum is to share my 41 years of being a wrestling fan and to help teach the younger fans about wrestling history and to help them learn how the business got to where it is now.

I enjoy answering questions from "kids" trying to learn.  I would rather see a hundred of those types of questions than ONE question from an arrogant, snide, think's he smarter than the rest of us, "smark" (an internet wrestling critic who complains about everything and would not be caught dead enjoying anything about wrestling).
