Why are some beta-blockers better than others for migraines?

such as bisoprolol Vs. atenolol (both cardioselective)

don't they both just block epinephrine?

  1. It all depends on the affinity that the drug has for the B1 receptor.  The greater the affinity the drug has compared to epinephrine, the greater ability the medication has to relieve pain.


  2. they open the arteries more wider...then ur pulse will drop to  mine went as low as 42...
