  1. My friend's dog has this, she looks a mess but it doesn't bother her!  She's happy and lively.

    Diabetes and adrenal gland probs have been ruled out. Only suggestion = she's on a low dose of oestrogen (weak bladder after being spayed), "in rare cases hair loss occurs".

    Guess it's like one of us going bald.


  2. It's an inherited defect due to a defect in the hair follicles.

    It's not just Poodles it affects.
