I kind of understand why bottlerockets and artillery shells are illegal, they have falling parts but why are roman candles, firecrackers, and other aerial fireworks that do not have any falling parts illegal? My neighbor had some fountain looking things that shot up in the air and made all the colors and sort and nothing came down, I dont see how they would be a problem?

  1. It's because they have small particles that people cannot see and they fall down onto the ground, which can cause fires. People get hurt that way and so can the whole city if the firefighters don't reach their in time. I hope I helped. :) And the smoke can be harmful too.

  2. Roman candles: Because the fireballs and sparks can land in a tree or on a roof and start fires.

And because idiots like to shoot them at each other while driving 80mph on the freeway!
