With some guys, just exposing the p***s to the air causes can cause an erection, particularly among younger guys.

When I was young, I always had to wear jockey shorts or a jock strap since I got embarrassing erections at school and on the bus.  For some strange reason, I still get them sometimes when I undress even without touching my p***s.  The rush of fresh air can do it.

As for using the bathroom, guys normally have to touch their p***s either to urinate or to place it in the bowl when doing #2 and this can be enough to cause an erection.  When guys get an erection, the emotions take over and we want relief, particularly if we are in a place such as a bathroom with privacy.
