Why are some people more sensitive to paranormal activity than others?

why are entities drawn to some people more than others?

There is many reason why these things happen to some people.

I am one of those sensitive people. I have always been that way since are four...seeing ghost-spirits, ESP, OBE and so many other abilities. I do believe it's part to do with having lived many past life times, you are more sensitive and open because of the past, and some of these spirits are past friends and past family, and or recent family. As a young child I would have some memories of detail of peoples faces in my head, I didn't know who or why I was having this. But now I know since my spirit guide came to my aid and communicated, and she gave me some of her memories of her and I together when we live together, and her another time in a past life as my spirit guide. Actually we both love and trust one another, and we take turns as each others guide from all I ascertain as it all came together.

Another is being open enough to tune in to that spiritual world. I do know one way for me is prayer, she and others have came to me at times after sincere prayer. I can even sense, feel all the different ways God communicates, and once I felt God's presence intervene to me on a job site....I wasn't in prayer at that time, I just done the right thing at the right time. Being, feeling compassion in my heart for my boss, and it was in the moment of truth when the Lord's presence fell on me, and I felt what He said to me telepathically. Sometimes when I see a spirit they either speak out loud or telepathy. .....So basically is it being sensitive or is it they attach themselves to one of your senses that's the reason why you see, feel or whatever...perhaps it works both ways. But I do know some of these spirits are like shocked that I can see them, and some don't even know that I can read and feel their thoughts as well, I know this because of their thoughts. Another reason why they will go to a sensitive person is when I sleep, if they keep coming back it's because they see I am acting out in my sleep, when they come to close, because either my third eye opens to where I can see them, or I will feel their thoughts. So once they see your reactions they know your sensitive and then they want to communicate more, because they then know you know.

I'm only guessing,but I think it is a sixth sense--the ability to perceive another dimension. The sense is more developed in some people, maybe because they learned at an early age that they had the sense and have developed it as they grew older. I was in an auto accident 32 years ago and I had an out-of-body-near-death experience. At times I know things are going to happen and I think of someone and I see them a few hours later. I can pick up the phone to call my son and it rings--and it is him. This happens quite often. I work in a busy, public place. People often tell me details about their life, sometimes I know what they are going to say before they say it. (My IQ is 135)

Not so surprising is the number of closed-minded people.

simple, people are more sensitive to paranormal activity than others because they have lower IQ's and believe they are seeing a ghost when it is just a mere bottle of juice. crack smokers seem to be more sensitive, plus it is more common for a crack head to be a fortune teller its very interesting.

Not everyone has an intellictual concience so therefore the lesser intelligent people are going to be more prone to "experiencing" the "paranormal activity" since they have a more difficult time seperating reality from hallucination, wishful thinking, and so on.

People who believe in it or are religious usually have a higher "sensitivity". If you don't believe, you don't receive. Supposedly. lol

Most likely they have the biggest imaginations.  It could be they are more open to the idea so they don't suppress their thoughts with what they are taught is true.

I've been 'sensitive' my whole life.  I started seeing ghosts as a kid, suppressed it through my teens and embraced it again as an adult.  I really don't know why I'm sensitive, I just am.  Other people's emotions affect me if they're too tense or angry - I can't be around people like that.  

My guess on why entities are drawn to some people is that they know those people can see or hear them.

Because we are simply born that way.  For me it was passed down in the family.  Entities are drawn to us because we stand out from the crowd.  To them we are colors.  People who cant sense them are black and white but people who are able to are colorful.  If you were a spirit who would you want to go to the black and white people who cant sense them or colorful people that can.  Thats how I see it.  But if you want to become colorful im sure you could.  Everyone has psychic abilites though they are not opened.  It takes time but if you want it enough you could accomplish it.  It is not always a fun thing to have though.  It truely is a gift/curse.  God bless!
