Why are some people more susceptible to motion sickness than others?

It's like when people are afraid of heights and there legs go wobbly up high some people as you say just are more susceptible to motion sickness. Why it's just the way god made us and you know what I've learned (just from being here) that everyone is different in many ways.

If you don't look at the horizon in a moving vehicle, you are more prone to motion sickness.  That's why you tend to get sick more in the back seat than the front seat.  A 'natural' cure is to look at the horizon.  My husband gets motion sickness, but is OK if he driving because he is forced to constantly look to the front.
