Kessie is way off the mark ! It's because some people have different brain receptors to others. Therefore they receive a much greater 'hit' from nicotine / alcohol / whatever. is a diabetic 'weak' because they 'need' insulin ?

because some folks weren't taught how to deal with their feelings while others were.  addictions mask emotionally dysfunctional social cripples.
