Why are some people so knowledgeable about making money and owning things and supporting themselves?

while other are constantly struggling and most don't have enough money to eat or live on? WHAT EXACTLY IS THE KEY? I know Donald trump doesn't help, I have read his books, he never ever reveals any money making secrets, As much as I like the Trump family!

If you mean in rich countries  like the US  most have enough money to live on, they just want to live  at a standard higher than their income so they struggle. Many people earning   100,000 a year and more struggle as much as people earning 20,000 because they think they must have a huge house with granite counter tops to be happy. There are only a few people  who through either luck of talent make more money than they can spend, and I am not one of them so I do not know how they do it.

Parents taught us responsibility in all manner of life.  We learned early that we had to save to buy what we NEEDED. Notice I said needed not wanted.  We set our goals, develop a budget and set about making it happen.  Be it a second job, educating ourselves on finances and asking advice before we act.  

Lacking today is also schools failure to instruct in basic finances.

Fifth grade we were taught budgeting, savings acct., checking accts.

We entered the workforce with the basic skills needed to suceed.
