Why are some vehicles so noisy on the road after midnight, and toilets so dirty/smelly? ?

Any good suggestions, so people can sleep and sh** more comfortably? Thanks for any useful opinions or tips!

It's really a simple answer.

Vehicles are louder at midnight because there is less noise and traffic at night.

Same is true with the toilet, less traffic using the flush mechanism at midnight so the smell lingers.

But the real concern is why are you sleeping next to the window of the commode?

For vehicles problems, definitely the timing plays a significant part like others have commented.

However, IMHO, both problems (vehicles and toilets) has the same root cause, ie, the inconsiderate behaviour of a person.

We all know most people are already sleeping or going to sleep at midnight hours, but drivers just like to test their cars, catch attention, show-off, challenge others and etc at this hour. Again, perhaps the timing is right to do so as there are lesser cars on the road. Their mentality is maybe : who cares? I'm not sleep yet anyway...

In public toilets, it is sometimes the cleaning mechanism or cleaners that are not working or simply vandalisium. When flushing mechanism are spoilt, owners of the toilets (can me public or coffeeshops toilets) does not bother to replace it, simply because there is cost involved and no guarantee that the next person can use it responsibly. Vandalisium, of course, needless to explain. Lastly, the most disgusting of all type of human beings : the "don't bother to aim" people. They just don't care where and how they are going to do there "businesses" in toilets, all they care about is whether there is a hole for them or not. And what's worst, you can possibly catch them in their act simply because toileting is a very private activity. Of course, they all get away with it. They may be thinking : nobody will know I did it, I will be gone in 10 mins time.

cos its too quiet at night, so even a pin drop is annoying. Move somewhere away from the roads and as for the toilets, you can't help it if people are just unhygenic. If never been into a guy's toilet, but i saw some ads where they tell u to 'aim your output' .. lol most toilets are ok, maybe just coffee shop owners should step up if they want more patrons. I say, avoid the coffee shop loos...
