Why are some veins visible through the skin?

  1. Veins run throughout the body, some are deep within the body, others are on the surface.  The ones you are seeing are closest to the surface.  If you have a pale complexion, you are more likely to see them than someone who is darker.  You would even notice them less if you had a tan vs winter pale.

  2. you can get rid of them through ways of surgery just go to a doctor and ask about it my mother had hers removed not to long ago from her ankle.

  3. because you dont have any fat there between yourvein and skin. thats why you can see body builders really well in there arms.  

  4. Its just because these veins are more superficial than others in your body.  I don't think there's anything you can do for it.
