For example, kill switch engaged songs My curse and End of Heartache are both edited with most of the screaming gone for radio play

  1. Actually My Curse is tamed both in the screaming and the the tempo espcially in the drumming during the screaming....

But what it is, Most people do not like the more extreme bands who scream as even though it does make it more dramatic, it takes most people out of the song and they don't want to hear it.

I know I'm one of those on the fence for it and actually love the unedited killswitch engage better, but it's edited to play to a wider audience it has to be toned down.. I know a lot of people in their 40s and 50s who like the edited version... a song they normally wouldn't listen to unedited.

  2. Because... some people find screaming "offensive" or "satanic"...

    *Rolls eyes*...

Whatever, stupid people... I personally think screaming makes a song more lively, like in Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' 'Face Down'.

But whatever, we must not offend the little close-minded people...

  3. i guess because some people dont consider screaming part of music and it doesnt sound good to them. and you know the radio is open to everyone so they have to go with what the majoirty of the people enjoys.

its dumb screaming makes a soong better but what are you gonna do
