Question:

Why are squid's eyes(not sure if all or some) deemed more advanceds then others(who ever they are)?

  1. The eyes of ceplalopods are very complicated, very similar to the eyes of vertebrates. The main difference is the route the nerve fibres take.


  2. squids and octopi  .are on of the most intelligent animals in the ocean squids communicate by changing colors .squids eyes are more advanced for hunting purposes and low light levels .........

  3. Squid eyes could be considered more advanced than ours because they don't have a blind spot.

    In the human eye, the nerve fibers lie over the retina.  In order for the nerves to attach to the brain, they must bundle into the optic nerve and exit through an area where the retina has been displaced.  As  result, that portion of the retina has a blind spot.

    Of course, squid don't have eyelids...
