Why are still people using plastics and other non -bio degradable materials..?

Some people don't have the money to just change everything over night.  You also shouldn't believe everything you hear.  You do realize the majority of the people that are so big into the Go Green are the ones that are making a lot of money on people changing their habits.  You know, these big corporations such as GE, that are driving around in their gas guzzling SUV's but want you to buy a new hybrid.

because the government doesn't regulate the manufactures of these containers and 'ding' them , when its not biodegradable.
