Why are string beans good for you?

I can't find info on why the Filipino string bean Sitaw is healthy. If anyone can give me some facts that would be great. :) If not, ordinary string bean health facts would be just as fine.

  1. In general, beans and legumes are good for you.  Green beans, black beans...it's all good.  They have plenty of fibre and other nutrients and have a low caloric/glycemic impact.
