Why are suicide bombers stupid?

recently on the news a suicide bomber killed around 40 people in algeria, why is he so stupid to do that? Does he not want peace? Is he trying to terrorize the world or bring peace? what is the world like in africa? I live in the US and I know that doesn't happen, I feel safe and would never expect a stupid suicide bomber to come and kill that many people. I feel sorry everyday for those people at war, i wish they lived peacefully with food and shelter everyday in the US. WHat should I do to help these people? I wanna bring peace.

It is ingrained in a muslim's mind and heart that 3 great things happen when he/she fulfills a suicide bombing:

1. Allah is pleased w/ their dedication.

2. Satanists (innocents killed) have been destroyed.

3. Great rewards await them in paradise.

Looking through that skewed prism, the whole mission is a great victorious operation.

Apparently these are sexual deviants. They are so excited about have the types of s*x that are taboo to them in their countries that they want to end their lives early to 'get in on the action.'

All the descriptions I have been given about their 'rewards' in heaven center around their own pleasures and their own sexuality. Is there any room for the Allah in their heaven?

i shudder to think what it is that these people want do people think that if religion wins the world on there behalf that its going to be a perfect world not likely is it instead of a few arguements regarding the likes of racism it will quite simply be off with there head no room for an opinion you just wont have one there is no chance of peace unless everyone converts and becomes another number trouble being its over populated there back yards so they want yours and with no baggage wont take them long to over run that as well as for peace i wish you well

Their stupidity is the result of illiteracy and that's exactly why the leaders of those people don't want any changes.  Those leaders cowardly hide behind their religious belief but all they care about is keeping their people in the dark so they can manipulate them as they are doing.......

I believed they are mentally brain washed. Their beliefs leads them to wrong harmful path. Make them do things which are terribly wrong but for them it's all for the cause of good and glory. Sad indeed.

Sacrificing their own life and taking the life of others, such a waste and shamed.

As long as there are people like them, the world will never have peace. Chaos.

If you are told something is right often enought you will belive it to be so.

As crazy as Suicide bombers are, they are doing what they believe is the right thing- yes they've been indoctrinated by religious dogma and promises of heck knows on the other side but if they had a shred of intelligence, they would ask why the people who indoctrinate them are not putting themselves forward but, hey, I guess thats the power of religion!!

It is because their leader promises them however many virgins. Im not sure exactly what a virgin in that context is. So anyways to them its a good price. And they arent thinking about world peace their just thinking about themselves.

Some people are willing to sacrifice their lives in order to cause terror and kill others. It's sad how a lot of people in this world are like that.

The  weak, lowly people use suicide bombs while the  strong, pround people use missle, nuclear bombs. Both works for their purposes.

You may think he is a complete idiot to do something like that, but to him, it is a worthwhile cause to die for. They also believe that if they sacrifice themselves for such a cause, that they will go to heaven or some happy, peaceful place in the afterlife.
