  1. You mean John McCain who now says that if the bill he drafted with Ted Kennedy came to him for approval he would veto it? Our current immigration laws make it very hard for highly skilled legal immigrants like me to get residence while eliminating the possibility of bringing in workers to do the scut jobs that American don't want. This, the people who will accept those crappy jobs come any, illegally.

  2. Actually there is a lot wrong with our current laws.

We need to remove the anchor baby loophole policy in the 14th amendment.

We need to take away all incentives and rewards for illegals to come here.  No more schooling, no medical (except for TRUE emergencies), no housing, no food stamps, no welfare, no jobs.

We need to make english the official language.

We need to remove the family re-unification laws that encourage uneducated and low-income immigrants.

We need to have harsh punishment for employers of illegals.

We need to have a central database for all hiring nationwide.

We need to punish sanctuary cities by removing all federal funding until they cooperate.

  3. They couldn't explain it because they knew there was nothing wrong with our current immigration laws. Basically they're full of it.

  4. They dont want to admit "illegals better life" comes at the expense and decline in standard of living for citizens!  To them, as long as the current laws are not properly enforced and the borders are wide open, they dont need an amnesty bill!  Deport them!

  5. They would have to say we don't have enough cheap foreign workers even tho we have 10 guest worker programs.

  6. Well, that, I don't know.

Your laws suck. We had to wait after receiving the visa, because to our relative in Miami they told her one thing but to us in the consulate they told us an entirely different one

No reason to misguide, confuse and misinform people
