Why are tacos named tacos?

Because that U-shaped crispy tortilla chip thing filled with beef, lettuce, cheese and tomato would be a long sentence to say at the drive-up window. Would you like some sauce made from chilies, onions, garlic, tomatoes and cilantro with that? See it is easier to call them taco's and salsa.

Because in Spanish the word "Taco" means "Taco". Just like in English. Yes, your brother is stupid, but so am I for answering!
