It's as though a teacher has to be perfect of appeal mainly to popular people to be liked. Everyone is always complaining about teachers at my school, even if some are good. Like one teacher I really like, but people are always complaining about her! Why do teens feel the need to be so hard on teachers? They are people to, ya know.

  1. there are many reasons why teens are disrespectful to teachers but it is mainly becuase students are (or can be) lazy, stuck up, and sometimes try to impress other students.  sometimes its the attitude of the teacher that the students disagree with (this causes them to rebel against the teacher).  that teacher you like and others complain about just

means you have a good relationship.         hope i helped!

  2. You act like this is a new thing ... Probably been going on forever ... when I was a kid it was no different ...just human nature.

  3. Well ,the same thing used to happen in my school .

Actually ,it is not just teens .Everyone speaks about people they don't like behind their backs .

  4. When teens get to be as old as some of us are, they'll realize that they don't know as much as they thought they did.

  5. Basically, people around the ages of 12-25 (or even more for some people), hormones kicks (puberty) and our emotions become wacky and go up and down. This is the period of our life where we learn to control our emotions and make better judgment/decisions.

That's why teens have alot of emotional conflicts among their peers and their daily environment (school). Don't worry, it's a learning procedure for teens!  =D

  6. teens are hard on just about every adult dont ya know teens know it all and those stupid adults just want to ruin a good time. remember to find yourself you have to do what you want to do in order to understand what's right for you. sometimes that can be dangerous and those pesky adults are always trying to tell teens what they should do. eventually teens grow up and the adults revenge is when teens talk about what used to be teens as if they didnt know anything. like how to dress, the latest music, or how a bf or bff should be treated.

  7. because they need someone too blame their recent problems on and it just can not be themselves, and considering it is education related then it has too be the closest which of course is a teacher.

  8. Boy, are you a breath of fresh air, Deep Thinker!  As an ex-high school teacher, I can say you are perfectly right, and you can't imagine how horrible it is to be on the receiving end of all that negativity from students.  I think you are just unusually mature for your age, and you see teachers as people, whereas your peers see them as things to take out their rage on.

Your parents must have raised you right too - I noticed that the parents of nasty students often demonstrated a lack of respect for teachers too, or at least tended to disbelieve the teacher and preferred to believe what their "little darlings" told them, LOL!

Whatever you do, DON'T become a high school teacher.  There are many far better respected and better paid occupations.

  9. We are living in the last days where evil is called good and good is called evil, disrespect for the good teachers..the ones who have to sell their collage book to survive while the hip hop artist r getting filthy rich off off hard headed rebellious kids who don't have enough sense to come out of the rain, Seems foolishness has taken over huh..sign of the last days just read you bible and you will see what I mean. Teachers are not backed up by the kids parents like it used to be my kids acted respectful in school or else they were scolded when they got home they were taught to respect. Now a days kids are taught by parents "let's sue" if we get the wrong eye to eye contact ect..pride and arrogance rules their lives and foolishness ect...There are still some God fearing good kids who do want to make a life for themselves but yes we do have also a lot on problems with disrespect of teachers and parents too.
