  1. Do some study on New Zealand. You are showing complete ignorance. I love good banter but this is absolute sh@t from a total moron!!!!!!!

  2. Hey blank. Obviously your name has something to do with your intelligence. Nearly all of the All Black team has grown up in NZ from a very young age. Their are more pacific islanders living in Auckland than all the pacific islands. Try and understand that bozo

  3. The rules have now changed.  If you have played for one country, you cannot play for another.  Auckland first five Isa Nacewa has played about 5 minutes for Fiji, and he is unable to play for the ABs.  New Zealand is not the only country to do this.  The poms  do forget this

  4. ok here we go with the poaching debate..... again......

In terms of the biggest showing NZ has supplied the biggest number of players (47) spread across 10 different countries them being Samoa, Fiji, Wales, England, Italy, Ireland, Tonga, USA and Japan the largest contingent being here in NZ with 22 players, out of the 30 strong squad 8 of them come from the Pacific 5 from Samoa, 2 from Fiji, and 1 from Tonga.

Getting back to the "poaching'', none of the eight players in the NZ team were ever poached as you put it for there rugby talents, they arrive here from there prospective Island with there families where they were little and I surpose if you want to take it as far as that 'sivivatu' would be the only player that would come close as he arrived in NZ in his teens.

Surprising to add out of the 30 strong samoa squad 12 of them are actually born in NZ.

In terms of % as 'redzonecash' has kindly added to the mix, NZ has 73% home grown talent. Putting it all into perspective Italy has the least number of Italians in its team with 47%.

I think you will find that we as a country do have home grown talent.

  5. They dont recruit... they are new zealand immigrants/citizens that moved from the islands to nz. Played for a local club then worked their way up until they got "discovered".

  6. Not this old chestnut again! Do you know anything about NZ's population? We are a country of many peoples, all of ethnic and migrant backgrounds, commonly known as New Zealand.

  7. well have you ever seen sheep playing rugby?......bar hahaha...

  8. There are Islanders in the team that were born in New Zealand...I hope I did not freak you out with that revelation. But those that were not born here came here as children with their families, for a better education and lifestyle.  They grew up here at a young age, went to school here, played Provincial Rugby here, before ever being considered as an All Black prospect.  All Polynesians born here or grew up here as children are proud New Zealanders.  If you have been to New Zealand you would know that there are a lot of Pacific Islanders that make up this great country.  Most Polynesians here if given the opportunity would become an All Black, and wear the famous Black Jersey with pride and represent the country they grew up in.

  9. That's a good one! I AGREE with you.

75% of the All Blacks are from Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.

    Talking about Pacific Power!

  10. Henry the kiwi coach - brought his relaxed approach to recruitment to wales too, and put us right in the shite with the irb. Who can forget the  brett sinkenson or Shane Howath saga? Maybe because they are at the other end of the world - where the beurocracies ain't that great...that they can get away with this sort of stuff?

  11. Don't the other rugby nations,  also do that.

  12. never knew they did
