  1. Horse meat is real good what are you worried aobut

  2. They do it to their native wildlife such as the wanton slaughter of wallabies and kangaroo. Right Reebok?!?!?

So why would they not do it to non-natives such as the horse. Horses severly degrade environments upon which their hooves are not mutated to accommodate them.

Same here in the western USA.

They need to exterminate the cane toad and rabbits which were also introduced.

  3. there are way too many roos in australia ,as above stated ,and horses were introduced they damage the high country their pests.

  4. 1. Culliing horses wether from the ground or air isn't murder.

    2. Australia culls horses because of the environmental damage they do and to keep the wild populations down to an environmentaly managable level just like we do here in the USA when we remove will horses and burros from federal lands.

    3. Many people in Europe eat horse meat so if these is a way for Australia to recover some of the costs of the cull by selling the meat I'd think it's a great idea.

BTW whats wrong with them selling Roo meat or horse meat or even the meat from feral hogs ?

  5. You cannot murder horses.  Murder is a legal term and applies only to humans.

  6. Don't know where you got that one from. Horses are not shot from helicopters unless they are stranded in flood conditions and there is no way to get them out. No-one I know eats horses or tries to sell the meat.

On the roo meat...we have to cull roos each year...LOTS of them. There are more roos in Australia than there are people. They destroy crops and reproduce so effectively that many of them simply die of starvation. A horrible way to go...and rather than have them rot on the ground after being shot, we eat them. They lead a free, happy life and are spared a death of starvation and/or being torn to shreds by dingos or crocs. I get roo from my local butcher...it's great.

It is infinitely more humane than feedlot beef or battery hens...do you have a source for the horse thing?
