Why are the British always cast as bad guys in movies ?

  1. Not in England they're not.


  2. I could guess that accents add a sort of mystery to the character. It makes them more sophisticated, and possibly more "witty."  

  3. That is a good question. Maybe with their accents people think they are more bad ***. I like british bad guys for some reason. I love any bristish person really!

  5. you's aren't exactly innocent. I'm Irish and I'm fed up with Irish people being cast as the bad guys in British movies and British tv programmes. but it's being going on that many years now, you just get used to it. you never broadcast your own as the bad guys, so that's why you's do it and the same reason why the Americans don't cast their own as bad, they cast the British as bad instead, but not so much anymore, they've moved on to other nationalities now, more middle eastern people.
