Why are the Characters in Naruto so much weaker then DBZ?

I don't get what the popularity is with naruto? I mean its alright but the power levels don't even come close to dbz.

I mean a weak human like krillin could probabyl kill everone in naruto without even using his arms.

I mean there just so dang weak, and they over explain there weak moves, and naruto and sasukes chidori/rasengan energy beams look awful and lame compared to kamehameha and final flash I laugh everytime they do them cuz they do like no dmg at all to the planet

does anyone while watching it go dang these guys are just too weak for my tastes and turn it off?

also nobody can even fly in the show either instead they jump on trees' really fast LOL, and the one dude yellow flash copied goku's instant transmission and he still cant even fly

So to you, an anime's quality is based on how much damage the characters can do? That doesn't make any sense.

Because Naruto ISN'T Dragonball. It's a different anime, with different characters, in a different world, with different powers and training.

And yes, Dragonball pwns and I'm a HUGE fan, but you have to acknowledge that not all action anime are the same.

Dragonball Z is great and a big hit in manga. Naruto isn't big in Japan but in other places. Naruto is just great for the kids, for girls that love romance, that kind of stuff. Its just kind of new. Dragonball Z is much popular that Naruto, like who the h**l dosn't know Dragonball Z?! Some people don't even know what the h**l is Naruto. And yes, Dragonball Z powers are far stronger than Naruto powers. I don't really like Naruto, its childish and just so... Naruto isn't really popular as you think.

assuming it is... Naruto is popular because the characters are weaker and more human.  They are completely unrelated and sholdn't be compaired.

Using your compairisons... do you watch any other movie than Superman movies?  after all, superman can kill any other superhero or other action hero pretty easily, so whats the point of watching any other hero?
