Why are the Denver Nuggets not the team everyone expected when Allen Iverson got traded?

Everyone thought Denver was going straight to the Finals (like 2001 Sixers.) Why didn't it happen?

iverson is to old when he arrive to denver ..

west is too best againts them

iverson and anthony are not good enough to carry denver to the finals they couldnt match againts teams like phoenix,dallas,spurs,lakers and specially boston

One the west was to tough and the nuggets play horrible defense. What they do is put one guy on the person with the ball if he gets pass him then they all just stand there watching the palyer score
