Why are the English so rude, arrogant , beligerant and self serving?

Ok, everyone knows the French are the most arrogant, the Americans the most widely condemned, but really the English are no longer an Empire, they are a small country forced to combine with their neighbours to be competitive in any real sense, even though they were historically at odds with each other. So why are the English so annoying?

LOL! The answers to this question! You english buggers! You can say **** about other people and be as racist as you want but when someone else criticizes you you go crazy.

Not only are they all that, they're extremely racist (but mind you, they hide it well) and two-faced hypocrites! Not generalising. You do find the few exceptions.

But all the English people i've made friends with have all turned out to be so two-faced hypocrites. :/ Given up with them.. one more year and i'm out of here :D

Are you actually going to make a point or are you just having a whine?

I get the feeling that you might be American, I could be wrong, I don't actually care. But you sound like you have a chip on your shoulder, get a grip, get on with your life and move on. On another note, why if we are so weak and pathetic economically does 85% of all the multinational companies in the world maintain an office in London?

Are we really that so annoying or is it that we have an awareness that perhaps other nationalities lag behind in.

Perhaps after years of being invaded and bullied that is why we English are beligerant...self serving well we we've had to be as United we stand divided we fall.

However all this said I'm eager to know what people  really think of us. I think it's a case of the little green idol.
