  1. I have two french colleague and they act the same way. Very sensitive, over the top proud, selfish, ignorant, spoiled and they don't know how to respect people.

  2. actually I just got back from Paris also, after being on a film shoot in very remote regions of Africa, and the shock of the harsh atitude of the Parisians was a bit more then I could stomach at times. Maybe coming from the warm welcoming joyfulness of African people in general helped to exaggerate the French sour attitude but, I also noticed, even when I did try to speak French to them, once they heard my AMERICAN accent, many Parisians seemd to try to make a point that THEY DONT LIKE AMERICANS and they wanted me to know it. for instance, I asked if i could pay with my VISA and she sneered. "not AMERICAN express". I dont even have an American express and she saw my visa card, I was holding it up for her. I saw it as her chance to thrust her disdain on anything associated with AMERICA. I find them prejudiced in general, and their clothes and food are no better then the USAs . In USA at least we have health food  galore, like juices and kombucha tea and wheatgrass. Also, the French were not all 'skinny' and chic, in fact, I was think9ing "am I surrounded by tourists or 'fat Americans"  (LOL), but they were all speaking and acting french, so NO ,,,IT WAS FAT s****. FRENCH PEOPLE I WAS SEEING>
