Why are the Mets such a fraud?

Is it their clueless GM? Is it Billy"Blown Save" Wagner? Is it the junk playing the corner outfield positions? Is it their horrible bullpen? What are your thoughts?

yeah Omar has to take a hit for not doing ANYTHING during the trade deadline. he knew this bullpen was c**p and how can you put such a big spot in the outfield on tatis?!?

It's inconsistency. They have a lot of talent on that team, but I think they are still plagued by September of 07. Wagner is a very good closer so give him a break. He's a lot better than what we have in Huston Street. Their bullpen is a problem. They just need to start playing with consistancy and they will be the division winners. Their starting pitchers are much better than that of the Phillies.

i think it's somewhere between their gm and their bullpen...first of all, what credentials did omar minaya have to be hired to this position? he was the gm of the nationals when they were owned by major league baseball, they had one good season and apparently he was a genius all of a sudden...their bullpen, including wagner, has cost them way too many games already, and if they don't get it fixed there is no way they can win the nl east

Wagners prolly blowing saves because he's apparantly hurt and thats why he's having an MRI...But yea you guys need to fire Omar Minaya all he's worried about is bringing in the big name player and doesn't worry about the stuff the Mets need like a better bullpen and corner outfielder.
