  2. Yellow is easy to spot.  It is used as a color to be seen at sea, I know that some people think it to be unusual, but it is just a carry over from their life with the sea.

  3. probably because it is different and easily identified in the water

    you have to have quick eyes to be able to see the dark blue or black caps a lot of teams use!!

  4. I don't really know, but the Australian swimmers have always worn yellow caps, so I guess it is just a national team color or something like that.
