Why are the Olympic rings blue, green, yellow, black and red?

I think I've got the colors right. But why those colors?

  1. every country in the world has a flag and one of those colors are in everysingle flag in the world so no matter what country in the world, one color from there flag is in one of the rings of the olympic logo.
