every time he does anything it makes headline news. 'Pope resting and "recharging batteries" '

I can't understand what the big deal is. I had a rest and recharged my mobile phone overnight but it didn't make headline news.

  1. The news media concentrates on the Pope's activities so that they can almost completely ignore his message and still rationalize that they are giving him fair coverage.

When was the last time you actually heard more than ten seconds or read more than two lines of something the Pope has said or written from a non-religious news media outlet?

    With love in Christ.

  2. He's a celebrity. He's also an head of a religion that has around 15% of the world's population as believers.

  3. Do you head an organization with a half billion believers, or are you a head of state?

Yes it is, but people don't follow you doing it.

  4. Because so many people AREN'T Catholic...and the Catholic Church has quite a history behind it.....it still stands infamously....remember that church and state SHOULD be seperate..and they never will be. They look at the Church as though it is a holy lineage of "Those nearer to God" ~ I don't buy it...but I feel this to be true.
