I'm no fan of Bush, but WOW! An 8 minute speech by teleconference?

Shouldn't President Bush as head of the Republican party, give his speech right before John McCain's acceptance speech as a passing of the baton to the next guy? And a confirmation that McCain will continue the neocon policies of President Bush?

Why such disrespect for President Bush? Like him or not, he was nominated and voted into office 2x by his party.

  1. I 100% agree.

  2. It's historic that the sitting president not speak at his party's convention.  But Bush's low approval rating is also historic (among other things from his administration).  Maybe the party felt his speaking would do more harm than good.

  3. FLIP & FLOP

  4. Even though Bush and McCain are the same person (policy-wise), Karl Rove knows Bush is a monster drag on his ticket and would not allow him there.

  5. Because Neocons like rats leaving the sinking ship first. Neocons want to distance themselves from Bush for their political gains.

  6. that would imply that he deserves respect

  7. The guy is toxic, no one wants to be seen with him.

  8. Bush-N-d**k does not deserve the respect of my neighbor's poodle; much less...

  9. This sort of amazes me. Four years ago Bush could have stepped in sheet and couldn't have lost. FINALLY people woke up out of this 8 year slumber and realized just what a s*****k Bush is and has been for the past 8 yrs and before that.

I've been watching the convention on PBS, the ONLY network bothering to carry it. Not even the fabled Fox is bothering to carry the GOP convention which I find nothing short of astonishing. Even Murdock, the biggest p***s head on planet Earth isn't carrying the convention.. HA! Doesn't this just PESS you off Repukes?

Oh well... I never thought I would feel so good about convention time..and to think..just 4 years ago I was ready to move across the Canadian border and I know.. to bad i didn't, huh Repukes?

  10. The really want his support****************************from a long distance away.

  11. Nice try.  If they had, you would have said that McCain needed to distance himself from Bush.

  12. Because he has this country screwed up and should just shut up

and stay in his office !!

  13. Even they know that Bush + McCain in the same room = Democrat in the White House.

    It would be suicide.
