  1. because we as women are taught from a young age not to trust ourselves women self doubt a lot more than men

  2. Perhaps.....people like you  and I cause the inane questions. We play on the insecurities of these innocent people who need affirmation, and are incapable of making a decision by themselves...I agree that they should grow some spinal columns, but please....do not limit your criticism to women only...I've seen some pretty inane questions from the male s*x.

But, you are right about the inanity, I fear for the future of a world full of such material and shallow people...

Now answer me this...."do i look pretty?" ;)

  3. who better to work out ur personal problems with a bunch of strangers over the internet.

  4. I think it's because they're only just realising how strong feelings can be and are battling with that and growing up. They can become confused and most probably can't discuss there thoughts with there friends (backstabbing, bitching and untrustworthy most of the time) and Mums aren't the most reassuring and best advice givers. Perhaps by posting what others deem "silly" kind of questions, there benefiting from having a range or opinions, ideas and thoughts and thinking about the bigger picture.

Girls at a pre-teen/teenage and early adult age are very conscious of the world around them and how perceptive people are. No question published about someones feelings/opinion can be "silly" cos' it means something to that person.

  5. Yes you're right, it's not like the blokes on here ever ask inane questions is it...

  6. Possibly inane people are using it.

  7. I don't know, these sound like teen girl questions.  What questions would you prefer?

  8. cause more and more people are relying on yahoo answers to help them in everyday situations and can no longer fend for themselves?

people need to learn that living life properly is all about experiences and moving on. if theres problems in relationships, then, unless your extremely psychologically interpreted and confident you could fix problems between you and your partner, then it is best just to

    LEAVE IT ALONE

    MOVE ON

    LEARN FROM IT

people all over the world are scared of many things when breaking up with their partners, but in the end the only thing the gain is the conscience of having a shoulder to cry on, the security that THEY HAVE A PARTER, even if its a shocking relationship, they are scared they wont find someone else.

people all over the world are scared

    scared of change

    scared of moving on

    scared of leaving something behind

scared of learning valuble lessons and applying them to later life.

thats why people ask these ridiculous questions

    people are only human.

  9. They're teens and tweens - they don't know any deep questions yet.

And the questions they're asking are meaningful to them - don't forget, they haven't done the boyfriend thing much before - they don't know what's expected and they don't know the ropes.

  10. Don't forget to include a link to a pouting 13 year old girl holding a camera above their head for some bizarre reason with the 'do I look pretty' or 'what are your first impressions...'

And don't even get me started on 'Do you think this girl LOOKS like she has a nice personality'?!?

  11. and why are girls asking if they should leave their violent boyfriends!? well duhhhh... we are not going too sit here and say "ohhh youll be fine lying in a gutter somewhere :)" are we!????

  12. Because this is the sort of c**p most teenage girls are obsessed with. Females go through a vacuous period, some never recover.

  13. Just what do you expect teens and pre teens to ask questions about,Georgia and Russia? The impact of GM food? The current problems in Zimbabwe? The looming recession?
