Why are the Sydney Swans said to play "ugly" football?

What is the Andrew Demetriou-approved "beautiful" playing style then? And how can he justify this comment given the Swans are on a winning streak (fingers crossed...)?

Well we all know that thats not true. they play bloody good football. i know pl get pissed off when the slow the game  down, but who gives a ****.

Sydney  plays  a boring style of football, they position themselves all the in the oppositions forward line, this is called FLOODING.

Now this was the case last year and that statement was made last year. Sydney is now playing more one on one style which is far more entertaining and much more free flowing.
