Why are the USA track team wearing sun glasses in doors?

In some cases, it because its an endorsement deal and they have to wear it. This was probably in the same situation in the Olympics beach volleyball, where Dalhausser and Rodgers were playing. They were wearing the sunglasses without the lenses OUTDOORS.

So I'm guessing endorsement deals.

Jeremy Wariner, USA 400M specialist says in his blog that he wears them to help him focus and to block out the crowd.

Some people dont feel like putting on make up so they cover up their eyes with sunglasses

some people think its fashionable

some do it to hide from others

Sunglasses=look cooler=get more @$$.  Very simple
