Question:

Why are the Western Media saying Russia is threatening to Nuke Poland?

Once again, like the Georgian conflict, they are over dramaitsizing and reporting out of context. This is actually what the General said:

"Poland 'is exposing itself to a strike ... It becomes a target for attack. Such targets are destroyed as a first priority.' .. which is a fact, not a threat.

  1. Hi

Don't worry there won't be many casualties Poland's nearly empty we've got em all.

    Ray. West York's. U.K.

  2. You have invented half of this.Russia actually said they will be forced to point the nuclear warheads at Poland. The media have not been misquoting, you are misquoting the media to suit your own ends.

Poland is a country that has suffered massively at the point of russian guns.My relations were killed by the russians advancing on Poland.America and the EU offer a safer future. You sir are a blithering idiot, but you are entitled to your opinion

  3. It's a threat hidden within the framework of a fact. C'mon, you know as well as I do what they meant....

Are they the only seven words you know???

Are you looking in the mirror each time you answer on YA?

  5. Russia is the new "boogie man". They pose a threat to U.S domination, so the yanks now want to demonise them.

  6. If someone doesn't throw cold water on this soon it may grow legs.Makes you wonder who controls the media.WTF is their agenda?Don't they have families?Catch a grip guys.Stop chucking petrol on the bonfire!

  7. Bull manure! The Russians are once again being made out to be in the wrong !

  8. News people have historically been at the bottom of many wars in recent times.  They feel they have to generate news stories or their firms will go broke.  They like to stir up ****.

  9. Because Poland has agreed to Americas request to install there anti missile system in Poland,  which makes the Russian missiles aimed at western Europe defunct, useless, a waste of Roubles..so you cant  blame the Ruskies for being pi$$ed off with the Poles

  10. The western media is just as bad as our government and the American government, a bunch of s**t stirrers!

  11. Russia has already threatened US and Poland, that if missiles are placed in Poland Russia will point Nukes. That is old news.

You have to understand one thing. Media knows what happened, what is going on. Media most certainly is collaborating with Bush, but at the same time they are trying to heal their bruised ego.

America wants to be sole master of the world. So in this instance it is not that Russia retaliated but how dare Russia defy US. Russia wasn't suppose to dare defend its interests, and if Russian clearly shows that US has no influence or bearing over Russia. That simply means US is not the sole power. That is simply unacceptable that US is not the center of stage. Bush literally has no influence over Russia or Europe, which was clear.

So you can directly do anything, so what can you do. Yes take out your frustrations but also use deceit and mass propaganda. So name of the game is 'paint your enemy as a monster'. Same dirty tricks employed during the Iraq war. If this friction escalates (which no one wants), I wouln't be surprised Russia tied in with terrorists. Patterns are similar - BAD PUTIN, USSR, COLD WAR, COLD WAR, COLD WAR, RUSSIAN AGGRESSION, INNOCENT GEORGIA, COLD WAR, COLD WAR, BAD PUTIN, BAD RUSSIA, COLD WAR, PUTIN BAD . . . etc

If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.

  12. I agree it seems a little over dramatic to accuse Russia of threatening to Nuke Poland...

but as for you other point...

Over dramatizing the Georgian conflict? Can you really over dramatize civilian towns being bombed by foreign planes?

  13. The media or idiots, the general is pointing out what I was saying about this plan years ago. The place they build these stations shall be the target for the first strike.

  14. Nobody lives in Poland they now reside in the UK, so a bit pointless.

  15. To sell newspapers.

  16. This statement was covered by more than American News Evidently there is truth in this statement, agreeably the media tends to blow things way out of proportion, but in this case they are not far off.

  17. The Media doesn`t speak for the people. We want Bush out on his **** ASAP.. he`s a trouble maker.

  18. Well, if missiles are in Poland and they are a first strike priority, then technically, they are "threatening to Nuke Poland."

So, their comments are factual, just a little hyped (but, what else is new for the media?)

  19. haha simm101,have to agree with your little crack about all Poles living in the UK now, saying that Ireland has their fair share too, jeez you can't even throw a stone and you'll bump into one,its almost like they out number us 2 to 1!! They're a good bunch for the most part though so its cool.

But anyway, theres no chance that Russia will bomb Poland, even if there is a chance, its extremely slim...i'm honestly getting the impression that the average American knows nothing of european politics or Europe in general for that matter...our answer to everything isn't simply "lets blow sh*t up" ,let the EU do its job here and handle Russia,Russia will listen to them unlike the US,who lets be honest aren't exactly impartial when it comes to this matter.

Also i think the US government are stooping a little low, didn't they have a sh*t attack when Russia tried to pull the same move in Cuba years ago?
